As to studies, we have known all along that aspartame triggers cancer. FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told congress that it violated the Delaney Amendment which forbids putting anything in food you know will cause cancer. He said it can cause brain tumors and brain cancer. His last words were "And if the FDA violates its own laws who is left to protect the public?"
In original studies aspartame triggered brain, uterine, ovarian, testicular, pancreatic and thyroid tumors. And now a new study has been done in Italy showing aspartame triggers leukemia and lymphoma, and malignant brain tumors. They released more information about a week or so ago adding kidney cancer, cancer of the peripheral nerves, especially cranial.
