Dr. Johnson,

This is what Jim MacDonald, Felicity Mawson, etc. have been trying to tell you. Note Teresa's note. Once they are off aspartame they don't want back on it. I think I sent you this post we send out on aspartame and MS: http://www.mpwhi.com/new_report_at_neurology_conference.htm It gives a good example of what happens when someone agrees to get back on aspartame, even to help the public. Four days was all this lady could take but it was enough for the doctor to mark her record as aspartame precipitated MS, and warn all his Neurology patients off of it. He has a large Neurology group in Pennsylvania. You have to understand aspartame is a chemical hypersensitization agent because of its poisonous nature as a deadly chemical poison. So once you get back on it you're destined to react sometimes so severely it has caused victims to go into anaphylactic shock or like in the movie, Sweet Misery, a Code Blue who was revived, when she used some Crystal Lite Lemonade with aspartame, a very small glass.

We keep trying to tell you and you don't seem to understand about the methanol. This free methyl alcohol is no different than the wood alcohol that killed and blinded thousands during prohibition, and completely unlike natural methanol in fruits and vegetables that is bound to pectin and accompanied by its antidote, ethyl alcohol. Doctors Alemany, Monte and Bowen went into great detail. These are not experts that are with the aspartame industry who defend aspartame and create the propaganda. These are researchers who have either researched aspartame for years like Monte and Bowen or even done one of the most damning studies in history on aspartame like Dr. Alemany showing how the formaldehyde embalms the body and damages DNA. These are independent researchers and Dr. Bowen who has been studying it for over 20 years has Lou Gehrigs from it because he used it before he researched it and accepted the lies of our FDA and the aspartame industry. But even the FDA themselves tried to have the manufacturer indicted and revoked the petition for approval. But they couldn't fight the political chicanery of Don Rumsfeld who with the help of President Reagan got it marketed anyway, and Reagan wrote an Executive Order making the FDA powerless to prevent it from marketed. If Food Standards continues to put the aspartame industry's propaganda on their web site that has been proven to be absolutely absurd and non-scientific, its an abomination.

Dr. Soffritti's research is just as damning proving once and for all that aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen which goes along with what FDA Toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross, told Congress, that it violated the Delaney Amendment because without a shadow of a doubt it caused tumors and cancer, and therefore no ADI should have been able to be set. Dr. Soffritti's research is as damning as Dr. Alemany's because he not only proved aspartame causes cancer but that it can be passed on to a woman's offspring. How bad can it get. Between the original studies showing everything from adenocarcinoma, brain tumors, testicular tumors, thyroid, pancreatic, uterine, ovarian and mammary tumors - at least for starters, the oncogene studies and Dr. Soffritti's studies anyone who says aspartame doesn't cause cancer is showing himself to be completely ignorant, unresearched or a downright fool. There is simply too much evidence that is a matter of public record. The aspartame industry consistently tries to rebut all findings with ridiculous reasons like in the Ramazzini Studies saying the rats had respiratory disease when respiratory disease is the dying process, and the rats were dying. We know they had to have gotten EFSA to state this since Dr. Koeter of EFSA admitted before he left that industry pressured them to hijack science and mentioned these studies. They do this with all government agencies. After all, they are manufacturing not only a deadly poison but one that is so addictive victims say its worse than getting off cocaine. So they have bottomless checkbooks and a great deal of influence and power. It takes an agency to say "Enough is enough, Food Standards was established to keep a distance from industry, and we are smart enough to make our own decisions based on the facts. We are here to protect the health of the consumer, not lie to them and let them destroy their life." If you do not have the courage to do that you do more harm to the public. Millions have perished because they believed government agencies influenced by industry!

As Dr. Ralph Walton who has also done a study on aspartame said, the correct ADI for aspartame is zero. The independent aspartame experts would agree. His study, of course, had to be stopped because of the severe reactions and using under the ADI of 40 to 50. The administrator who took part in the study is still today blind in one eye because he participated.

Victims who found out their problems were aspartame and got off and got well are the fortunate ones, and as you see from the comment below you can't find any who are willing to go back on it, unless its like the lady in the MS post who sacrificed herself to prove the point and save the lives of others. Today any aspartame victim that goes to her Neurology Group is immediately warned off, and their life is saved. I could even do a poll for you.

When you tell me nothing we could send you showing correct scientific information on free methyl alcohol and the ADI would change your mind, it just says to us, the aspartame industry has provided you with propaganda and you have given them your loyalty, and you stand by this abominable misinformation.

When we are ready to go with our study we will send you the protocol. Read on for this brief statement by a former sufferer of aspartame, about your study. We will also be starting some kind of campaign to alert the world that Ajinomoto now knows we have gotten the facts around the world on aspartame, so they are changing the name to AminoSweet. One company has already started making attire and other material that warns about aspartame, so people will become walking billboards to alert the public. One of those imprints will say aspartame is AminoSweet. We will not let Ajinomoto get away with it.

All my best,

Hi All,

I was sent this email the other day. Professor Atkin is doing a study on Aspartame and is wanting volunteers. Here is the email content:

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR ASPARTAME STUDY

Some people believe that they suffer adverse reactions when they consume the artificial sweetener aspartame. The University of Hull is looking for these people to take part in an independent study, funded by the Food Standards Agency.

Advice from the Food Standards Agency and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) remains that aspartame is safe. However, a number of people have reported sensitivity to the product including headaches, dizziness, vomiting, diarrhoea and fatigue. The Food Standards Agency has therefore decided to commission a study to look at the alleged symptoms.

The national study will be carried out by Professor Stephen Atkin at the University of Hull, in collaboration with colleagues at the Hull York Medical School and Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

He explains: "This study is not to determine whether aspartame can be consumed safely; this has already been established, but to see whether certain people are sensitive to it.

"We will look at the effects of eating a snack bar which may or may not contain aspartame in people who say they have a problem eating aspartame and people who normally consume foods containing aspartame with no problems. The study is a double blind placebo crossover, which is the gold standard of studies."

We are looking for 100 volunteers; 50 of them should have complained of side-effects from aspartame and they will be matched in gender and age by people who report no side effects.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact a member of the clinical trial team on 01482 675372 or 01482 675387 from 9am to 5pm weekdays or the Hull Royal Infirmary switchboard on 01482 328541 out of hours.

Please share this information with anyone else you know who may also be interested. We look forward to hearing from you.

Now just go back up to the fourth paragraph and read it again, especially the part where it says " this has already been established "(The International code for UK is +44, then knock off the first 0.)

Take care, Y'all.
