In regards to your article entitled, "Natural Sweeteners, How Safe Are They?" located at: http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/health/062505_hs_sugar_sub.html, you may want to take a look at the World Natural Health Organization web site [ http://www.wnho.net ] which has lots of information on various so-called artificial sweeteners and a lot of information on stevia. Your information as to the safety concerning products such as aspartame is erroneous. If you look at our web site, you will find copies of actual documents as well as many medical studies by highly qualified individuals, and even a copy from the congressional record concerning this neurotoxic substance. It is not as safe as the FDA and the manufacturers claim and there have been literally thousands of complaints filed against it with the FDA, which doesn't seem to want to do a thing about it. It seems that when the mighty dollar speaks they listen to that above all else. How else would you explain the many deadly substances they have approved, to only a few years later have them recalled from the market?

Here are some links to several articles on our web site that you will find very informative and enlightening:

http://www.wnho.net/fda_accused_of_lying.htm
http://www.wnho.net/congressionalrecord.htm
http://www.wnho.net/history_of_aspartame.htm

You may also want to check both the articles section and the aspartame section on our web site for up to date and accurate information. We also have several links for information regarding stevia which may be found at http://www.wnho.net/links-stevia.htm.

I do hope that you will take the time to check out all of this information and not just go by the word of the FDA since they have clearly demonstrated they cannot be trusted and do not have the public's best interest in mind.

With kind regards,

Dr. Bradley Carey
