This is my personal opinion.
Nikki Haley has announced that she is planning on running for the office of president in 2024. If she becomes the Republican Party nominee, then they just may as well as hand the presidency to Joe Biden again.
As governor of South Carolina, she did just a mediocre job. Nothing really accomplished nothing that was noteworthy. She claimed, on many occasions, that she was all about transparency, but there was in actuality very little, if any, transparency about her administration. She would make behind closed door deals with corporations to bring them into South Carolina. When the State Revenue Department learned of these meetings and wanted in on them, she basically told them to shut up, that they had nothing to do with them.
She was always very wishy-washy on political "issues", refusing to take a stand in one direction or another.
She was offering large tax incentives and breaks to these corporations and giving away state owned land to them, that was worth millions of dollars. Many of them took advantage of this and promised her that they would hire locals. Well, they moved in and when they did, they did hire local, but only for past-time, seasonal work. A majority of their full-time permanent employees were brought with them from out of state.
Many years ago, I had the opportunity to meet her and speak with her, something she regretted. It was at a fundraiser for a friend of mine who was running for re-election for state senator. Knowing how outspoken I can be on many things, both he and my wife asked me to behave myself around these politicians, especially Nikki Haley, who we learned would be there. I told them that I would not say anything to her unless I was specifically asked by her. Well, about an hour into it she came up to me and introduced herself. I was polite and shook her hand. She thanked me for coming out to support the Republican Party. I told her that I do not support the Republican or any other Party and that I was here supporting my friend who is running for re-election. She then asked me if I was a Democrat. To which I told her, "No way, I am a complete Independent."
She then asked me, "What do you think about the transparency of my administration?" I looked her in the eye and said, "What transparency? I see none at all. You have closed door meetings with corporations, make secret tax deals, you secretly give away State-owned land in your secret meeting, etc. I see absolutely no transparency here." She then gave me a dirty look and made a beeline away quickly.
Later my friend (the one whose fundraiser it was, and my wife came over to me and said they saw me talking to Nikki Halley and both asked me how it was and they noticed her giving me a real dirty look before she left to go talk to others. I told them exactly what I said. My friend was like "Well I am glad that she did not have the Secret Service make you leave." Yes, there were many of them there. The pin on the lapel of their suits gave them away. I actually asked a few of them about that and they were surprised that I knew many of their procedures and protocols. Anyways I told my wife and friend that if they did try to make me leave, I would have made a big fuss about it and would have let all of the local papers know exactly what had transpired. But no one approached me and I was never asked to leave.
These are just some of the reasons that I would never support Nikki Haley for President. If somehow she did become president and defeated Joe Biden, which I believe would be extremely unlikely, this country would be even more messed up than it is now under the nightmare of Joe Biden and his administration. If she is on the ballet against him, I will be voting third party once again. I have a friend of mine who is a very die-hard Republican who tells me, "That when it comes to elections and voting, you have to vote for the lesser of the two evils." Well as I tell him, "Voting for the lesser of the two evils is still voting for evil and I will not. I will choose the third alternative and vote for someone other than them."
As I said above this is my personal opinion, to which I am entitled. This is still a free country, despite all of the damage Joe Biden and his administration has done to it and to the US Constitution. You are free to agree with me or even disagree with me. But I am NOT changing my mind or my opinion in regards to Nikki Haley running for president.

In her recent television ads and mailing literature, she has been bombarding the State of South Carolina with, claiming and telling people how she is the only candidate that can beat Biden, while at the same time bad-mouthing and downgrading those who were her allies. Even President Trump (which I never voted for nor will I) who appointed her to Ambassador, she is attacking him, reveling how two-faced and a turnabout she really is. She has been claiming to be a conservative Republican. But this is NOT true. If anything, she is a moderate RINO (Republican in name only) with liberal tendencies. She has clearly shown that she cannot be trusted and is not running for "We The People..." and will do and say anything to get what she wants.
