Dr. Adrian Gross, FDA toxicologist, told Congress in l985 aspartame violated the Delaney Amendment because it can trigger brain tumors and brain cancer. The Ramazzini Studies of 2005 and 2007 proved aspartame to be a multipotential carcinogen confirming original studies.
