Aspartame industry tries to protect its addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug masquerading as an additive. 25 yrs on the market illegally the manufacturer gets defense from professional organizations, front groups and researchers who have sold out the people. They write the propaganda for FDA who originally tried to have the manufacturer indicted for fraud and shockingly stood by while the US Prosecutors were hired by defense team. Public records show they lie now in the face of startling truth from their own records. FDA revoked the petition for approval and then Don Rumsfeld came to the rescue. Revoked petition: http://www.wnho.net/fda_petition1.doc Dr. John Olney's testimony to the Board on how aspartame destroys brains of unborn and children: http://www.wnho.net/dr_olney1.doc Prophecy fulfilled. Olney founded the field of neuroscience called excitotoxicity when he did studies on aspartic acid, 40% of the molecule and found it caused lesions in the brains of mice. (Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, http://www.soundandfury.tv)

Dr. Ralph Walton did research for 60 Minutes showing 92% of all independent scientific peer reviewed studies show the problems aspartame triggers. http://www.dorway.com/peerrev.html Eliminate one pro-aspartame summary and 6 studies the FDA had something to do with and 100% of independent scientific peer reviewed studies show the problems. Last 13 studies from mainstream journals exposing aspartame toxicity: http://www.dorway.com/peerrev.html There have been 3 congressional hearings because of the public being poisoned and even aspartame detox clinics help the sick and dying from the toxin.

The modus operandi of the manufacturer is to never to debate the issue because they can't win, so they attack the writer and try to get people's mind off the issue. Even a 12 year old, Jennifer Cohen had Winston Lab analyze Diet Coke after being at room temperature, in an incubator and in the fridge. This showed even the Diet Coke in the fridge had broken down to formaldehyde and DKP, the brain tumor agent. http://www.dorway.com/jcohen.html Not being able to attack a child Dr. Moser of the NutraSweet Co wrote to Jennifer and said he would discuss the issue, When Jennifer wrote to explain the RAO Study by industry themselves showing 5 out of 7 monkeys fed aspartame had grand mal seizures, and one died, Dr. Moser ran like a scared rabbit. He said he was cutting down all communication. He couldn't answer Jennifer's letter of 7/14/1997. The manufacturers will never discuss the issue but attack the messenger.

On May 21st, 2001 Melinda K. Plaisier, Associate Commissioner for Legislation wrote me and stated: "Should FDA be presented with credible scientific information that indicates a potential public health concern with aspartame, or any other food ingredient, FDA will take appropriate action to protect the public health. The Trocho study had already shown the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue: http://www.mpwhi.com/aspartame_news.htm

Study after study showing aspartame toxicity has been completely ignored by FDA including the two Ramazzini Studies proving original studies that aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen. The FDA says they don't want to review the second study. When you can't win simply ignore the issue and attack the writer.

To see aspartame manufacturer's vulture team swoop in to attack the writer when even a child has proven aspartame to be poison only confirms again to the world the aspartame industry cannot discuss the issue, Their bottomless checkbook can pay people "who do it for money". Anyone attacking the writer is proving they're still trying to defend the poisoner and have no courage to discuss the issue except with denials and foolish misinformation. Shame on such defenders. The issue of toxicity has been proven for over 25 years, and even medical texts expose the toxicity: Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, http://www.sunsentpress.com, H. J. Roberts, M.D., and Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills, http://www.russellblaylockmd.com

James Granger, M.D.:

I am still waiting for someone to refute the evidence that the FDA originally ignored showing that Aspartame was unsafe. Has anyone reviewed the literature or is quoting government sources the best people here can do?? It is amazing that people will research my credentials and not research the scientific evidence THEMSELVES! My credentials are irrelevant as are the occupations of the other posters on this thread. I guess there are a lot of lazy people out there. Aspartame is metabolized into 3 toxic substances and has no nutritional value! Many people don't realize that the FDA 's research is underfunded and when it is funded it is done so by the very entities the FDA is suppose to be regulating! Vioxx, Celebrex, Trovan and Seldane were once thought to be safe too. Hey, if you want to disagree with me, fine. Keep eating toxic food. Just remember the life time risk of cancer has gone up since the 1950's, the incidence of diabetes and hypertension have gone up and 80% of Americans are overweight or obese. Yet, many naive people will believe anything and everything in our food supply is safe to eat.I wonder if anyone has looked at the obesity statistics on the CDC's website??

Thank-you Dr. Martini, I mentioned the "sweet misery" movie earlier in the thread but unfortunately, many people seem to have preconceived ideas and don't want to take the time to look at the evidence before commenting. It seems the norm is to question credentials rather than the argument.
