Subject: Your article on artificial sweeteners - WebMD

WebMD,

I really don't know how you people keep a straight face and say artificial sweeteners are safe. Aspartame is an addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug that interacts with all drugs and vaccines. http://www.wnho.net/aspartame_interacts.htm

It's been on the market for 25 years with constant pleas to recall it, and three congressional hearings. Aspartame Disease was declared a global plague by H. J. Roberts, M.D., who authored the 1038 page medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, http://www.sunsentpress.com

Mission Possible organizations are in 37 countries of the world warning all consumers off this deadly toxin. The research on scientific peer reviewed studies with respect to funding shows almost all studies show the problems as long they are influenced or paid for by the manufacturer defending them. http://www.dorway.com/peerrev.html

Aspartame is so deadly the medical text lists a page on pre-embalming. And here is the scientific peer reviewed study that proved it: http://www.wnho.net/formaldehyde_from_aspartame.pdf

There are all kinds of text books like Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills by neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D., www.russellblaylockmd.com">http://www.russellblaylockmd.com Listen to his lecture The Truth About Aspartame - http://www.atavistik.com that goes over the latest studies showing aspartame to be a multipotential carcinogen.

There are millions of posts on Google and web sites alerting the public. With the way WebMD is advertised I would be ashamed to so blatantly try to coverup for the poison manufacturers. People are just laughing about WebMD that they claim to have the facts and instead mislead the public.

And this statement: "Artificial sweeteners can serve a definite purpose in weight loss and diabetes control," says New York City-based nutritionist Phyllis Roxland." Why would you even allow such a misinformed statement on your web site. Aspartame makes you crave carbohydrates so you gain weight. Here is the new Report For Schools: http://www.wnho.net/report_on_aspartame_and_children.htm New articles by the experts and among them is Dr. Sandra Cabot's paper "Aspartame Makes You Fatter." As to diabetes, aspartame not only can precipitate diabetes but it simulates and aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic nerve, causes diabetics to go into convulsions, and interacts with insulin. It is no wonder we have an epidemic of obesity and diabetes. Dr. Sandra Cabot is Mission Possible Australia. Dr. Roberts who wrote the medical text is an endocrinologist and took care of aspartame victims in the trenches of medical practice.

You simply can't plead ignorance because you are in the position to influence the public. And this stumbles them, and this deadly toxin can take their lives. We are already taking aspartame brain tumor cases in New York and New Jersey. Aspartame breaks down to a brain tumor agent, diketopiperazine.

If you're not qualified to research than don't publish to the public to stumble them. A ten year old child could find the truth about aspartame on the web with references to back up any of the diseases it causes. You're obviously influenced by the manufacturer or you wouldn't make yourself look so foolish putting out ridiculo9us information. If we can keep the public up-to-date and provide resources for them to get the facts so can you. There is even an aspartame documentary, Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, http://www.amazon.com

And Splenda, even Citizens for Health and James Turner, Atty, has asked for it to recalled. Here's a couple of articles: The Lethal Science of Splenda: http://www.wnho.net/splenda_chlorocarbon.htm and Life After Aspartame: http://www.rednova.com/news/display/?id=229690

If you're just ignorant of the facts I will expect to see a retraction. If you've been influenced by industry you won't which has been the case in the past. Do remember, however, that under Title 18, Section 1001 it's a crime to stumble the public. But I will post this letter.

Shame on you people for continuing this type of writing instead of making the facts known.
